This is going to sound ridiculous, Annie, but you learn to just accept these horrendous times and get on with it. When I have been in severe pain out of bed, I have stayed in it!! When it has hurt to put my foot on the floor, I have had it elevated etc.etc. Having said that, it's wonderful it seems to be going!!!

Hi Jean

Glad to hear that at last you have had an improvement. I'm very pleased for you.

I know what you mean about getting on with it and staying in bed if necessary. What else can you do, although it's frustrating.

When i had a sickness bug last week my ribs were hurting really bad and i said to my husband that it makes a change from the RA pain as it was different and he thought that a very strange comment!

Hope you continue to get some relief.

Love Shirley x

Excellent BigGrin ThumpUp

A friend of mine, with worst-case-scenario psiorasis (think Singing Detective) and a grumpy sod to boot, often says, "Health is wasted on the healthy." I tend to agree, but being sick and in pain does make you appreciate the little things in life. Achievements like this are fantastic to those of us who understand just how huge an achievement it is BigGrin
